LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY, [LASU] RELEASES 2021/2022 SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION LISTS ON SCHOOL PORTAL

LASU supplementary admission list contains the names of candidates offered provisional admission into LASU various DEGREE programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session [both stream 1 (Regular without Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Training) and stream 2 candidates (Regular with Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Training)].

Candidates that participated in the online admission screening exercise can now check their admission status.

How to Check LASU supplementary Admission List

  • Visit LASU admission portal at
  • services.lidc.lasu.edu.ng/admissionscreening/login.php.
  • Enter your JAMB registration number and your Surname in the required columns (ensure the ALPHABETS IN YOUR REG. NUMBER are UPPERCASE).
  • Click the ‘Submit’ button to access your LASU account dashboard.
  • Finally, locate the Check admission status and click on it to know your LASU admission status.
  • Not Yet admitted? Note that the Admission List will be published in batches on the University website as they are processed. Candidates are therefore advised to keep on checking the university website.

The Lagos State University Management’s attention has been drawn to the activities of fraudsters who are currently circulating fake payment portal on different social media platforms asking candidates recently offered provisional admission for the 2021/2022 academic session to make a payment urgently.

Court recommends out-of-court settlement for FG and ASUU

  A Court of Appeal in Abuja has recommended an out-of-court settlement to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government, following ASUU’s 14 grounds appeal. Recall that ASUU had filed a 14-grounds appeal over the court order issued by a national industrial court in Abuja asking the union to call off its ongoing strike. Justice Georgewill Biobele Abraham who presided over the case, asked the counsel to the Federal Government, James Igwe (SAN) and that of ASUU, Femi Falana (SAN), to first sit down as lawyers, take a patriotic position and convey the position to their clients. He said: “There is time for everything, time for war, and time for peace. As Ministers in the temple of justice, we want to see the two of you as senior lawyers encourage and explore amicable settlement of this dispute. “In fact, we expect to return to this court on Thursday with the good news that the dispute has been thrashed out and all the appreciation of Nigerians will go to you. “
