UNICAL Admission List 2021/2022 Session is Out

This notice is for all prospective students of the University of Calabar (UNICAL). Allschool Team wishes to inform you that the UNICAL admission list for the 2021/2022 academic session has been released.

How to Check UNICAL Admission List.

As of the time of updating this page, you can only check your admission status on the JAMB portal via the procedure below:

1. Go https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility./Login
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Then click on Admission Status,
5. You should then click on check admission status or
6. Click on Access my CAPS.
7. Select the three doted line at the top right-corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
8. Then click on admission status
9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
10. If you see admission in progress, then congrats because you have 99.9% chances of seeing “CONGRATULATIONS…”
11. If what you saw is Not Admitted, don’t panic yet, the admission is uploaded in batches. Just check back after some days/weeks.
12. And if you see CONGRATULATIONS… then jump up and dance because you have been offered admission

Please Note:

1. Candidates whose names appear on this list are please advised to login to JAMB portal to either ACCEPT or REJECT their admission offers within 72 hours from the date of this publication, failure which the admission may be REVERSED.
2. Those YET-TO-BE admitted and whose scores fall within the approved cut-off mark with the required subject combination are advised to check the school portal regularly to know their admissions status.
3. NOTE: Candidates are advised to go on Jamb portal to accept the admission if they have not done that already.

When The admission list has been made available on the school portal. The procedure below can be used to check admission status:

First get the UNICAL Admission Checking card

The admission checker cards can be purchased at the following banks:

1. UMFB, University of Calabar
2. Heritage Bank, Calabar Road
3. Wema Bank, Murtala Muhammed H/Way
4. First City Monument Bank, Calabar Road

Then follow the procedure below to check:

• Go to UNICAL Admission Status Portal
• Enter your JAMB registration Number.
• Then click the login button to access your admission status.
• If admitted, you will see your name and course. If you are yet to be admitted you will see Sorry, this Jamb Number is YET-TO-BE ADMITTED, kindly check back !!!.

CANDIDATES WHOSE NAMES APPEAR ON THIS LIST ARE PLEASE ADVISED TO PRINT OUT THE ADMISSION STATUS SLIP AND KEEP IT FOR SCREENING AT THEIR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS. THEY SHOULD PLEASE PROCEED TO PAY THEIR ACCEPTANCE FEE ON ETRANZACT PLATFORM IN ANY COMMERCIAL BANK AND UNICAL MICROFINANCE BANK

1. Candidates whose names appear on this list are please advised to login to JAMB portal to either ACCEPT or REJECT their admission offers within 72 hours from the date of this publication, failure which the admission may be REVERSED.

Checking Admission Status Guidelines

1. E-tranzact option:
   This option is available in all commercial banks nationwide. At the bank your are required to pay and obtain an E-transact PIN. With the PIN log into the portal https://www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME Admission Screening link then follow the instructions on the portal after login.
2. Buy Admission Status Checker Pin Online option:
   This option gives access to purchase Admission Status Checker pin from the portal. Click Buy Admission Status Checker Pin Online to purchase the Admission Status Checker pin online. Login with the TRANSACTION ID as the PIN into the portal.
3. Scratch Card Option:
   This option is available in the following banks within Calabar Metropolis ONLY:
   a.    Unical Microfinance Bank
   b.    WEMA Bank
   c.    First city Monument Bank
   d.    Heritage Bank
