MAPOLY Academic Calendar 2021/2022 [UPDATED]

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) Academic Calendar for the 2021/2022 Session has been REVISED. See the updates below. 



HolaDav is pleased to announce that the management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta (MAPOLY) has released the proposed academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic session.

Students are therefore advised to acquaint themselves with the new academic arrangement as follow:

MAPOLY Academic Calendar for First Semester

The Academic Board of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta has postponed the first-semester examination for 2021/2022 academic session till Monday, 16th May, 2022.



This was ratified at the emergency meeting of the Board held on Friday, 22nd April, 2022.

Similarly, the Board has extended the deadline for the payment of tuition and registrations till Friday, 6th May, 2022 for all categories of students.

Meanwhile, a week of preparation and course revision for all students will run from Monday, 9th to Saturday, 14th May, 2022.

This is an indication for any student, who is yet to complete his/her registration ahead of the examination to do so before the deadline.

Management, therefore, urges students to remain focused on achieving their primary goals in the Polytechnic.

ASUU Strike: UNICAL Orders Students Out Of Hostels

  The management of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) has ordered students of the institution out of their hostels with immediate effect due to the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). A statement released on Tuesday by the Registrar Gabriel Egbe said following the industrial action embarked upon by ASUU, the school can no longer provide essential services in the hostels. “The strike has adversely affected the provision of essential services in the halls of residence and on the campus, generally making it difficult to meet up with the management of these essential services. “Consequently, the acting Chief Security Officer of the institution has been advised to lock up all the hostels as well as deploy security men to man all the halls of residence. “Management wishes all students journey mercies, as they travel to meet their parents/guardians,” the statement said.
