This notice is for all prospective students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN). HolaDav Team wishes to inform you that UNIBEN’s first batch admission list for the 2021/2022 academic session has been released

How to Check UNIBEN Admission List

Candidates can check their admission status on the UNIBEN Admission portal via the procedure below:

  1. Candidates are to visit UNIBEN undergraduate Admission list portal at https://uniben.waeup.org/applicants/checkstatus
  2. Provide your Application Number or Registration Number And one of your names in the required column
  3. Click on “Submit” then Confirm your Application Number and click on “proceed” to check your admission status.

Candidates can also check their admission status on the jamb admission portal via the procedure below:

  1. Go jamb.gov.ng/efacility.
  2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
  3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
  4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
  5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your UNIBEN admission status.

Court recommends out-of-court settlement for FG and ASUU

  A Court of Appeal in Abuja has recommended an out-of-court settlement to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government, following ASUU’s 14 grounds appeal. Recall that ASUU had filed a 14-grounds appeal over the court order issued by a national industrial court in Abuja asking the union to call off its ongoing strike. Justice Georgewill Biobele Abraham who presided over the case, asked the counsel to the Federal Government, James Igwe (SAN) and that of ASUU, Femi Falana (SAN), to first sit down as lawyers, take a patriotic position and convey the position to their clients. He said: “There is time for everything, time for war, and time for peace. As Ministers in the temple of justice, we want to see the two of you as senior lawyers encourage and explore amicable settlement of this dispute. “In fact, we expect to return to this court on Thursday with the good news that the dispute has been thrashed out and all the appreciation of Nigerians will go to you. “
