Maurid Polytechnic, Mbiaso, Akwa Ibom State, various National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and Degree programmes for the 2022/2023 academic session have been released. See how to check Maurid Polytechnic Admission List below.



The management of the Maurid Polytechnic, Mbiaso, Akwa Ibom State, has released the list of candidates offered provisional admission into its ND, HND and Degree programmes for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Maurid Poly ND, HND and Degree admission lists have been successfully uploaded online. 


How to Check Maurid Polytechnic Admission List

 

Note that all admitted candidates are to report to the institution from (10th October to 28th October 2022) for their original admission letter. Lecture starts on the 8th of November 2022.

 

You must produce at the time of registration provide the following documents, failure of which your admission will be forfeited: 

  • Pay the sum of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND NAIRA (NGN 25,000) ONLY for ACCEPTANCE FEE at the Bursary Unit before collection of the Original Admission Letter. 
  • Provide two(2) recent Passport Photograph. 
  • Provide O’level result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or equivalent). Provide your recent JAMB result slip.
  • Your school fee is FORTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED NAIRA (NGN 47,500) ONLY per Semester. 

 

Hostel accommodation is available, and it’s compulsory for all new students.

 

DIRECTION TO THE CAMPUS:

From your location, arrive at ITAM PARK IN UYO, AKWA IBOM STATE CAPITAL, board a bus going to Afaha Nsit alight at the last bus stop, then take a Bike (Okada) to the Campus in Mbiaso.

Court recommends out-of-court settlement for FG and ASUU

  A Court of Appeal in Abuja has recommended an out-of-court settlement to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government, following ASUU’s 14 grounds appeal. Recall that ASUU had filed a 14-grounds appeal over the court order issued by a national industrial court in Abuja asking the union to call off its ongoing strike. Justice Georgewill Biobele Abraham who presided over the case, asked the counsel to the Federal Government, James Igwe (SAN) and that of ASUU, Femi Falana (SAN), to first sit down as lawyers, take a patriotic position and convey the position to their clients. He said: “There is time for everything, time for war, and time for peace. As Ministers in the temple of justice, we want to see the two of you as senior lawyers encourage and explore amicable settlement of this dispute. “In fact, we expect to return to this court on Thursday with the good news that the dispute has been thrashed out and all the appreciation of Nigerians will go to you. “
