 Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates into 3 Years General Nursing programme of Ebonyi State College of Nursing, Uburu, Ebonyi State.



ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings in WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. Please note that NABTEB can only be combined with NABTEB.
  2. Interested candidates must be at least 17 years old by July 2023. 


METHOD OF APPLICATION

  1. Interested candidate should apply online at the college website www.ebsconsu.edu.ng/apply
  2. Applicants are to pay an application fee of N15,200 by generating a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) on the website.
  3. Make payment online or at any commercial bank with the RRR generated from the website.
  4. The portal is open for application on 6th February, 2023 and closes on 23rd June 2023.

Note:

  1. Come to the exam venue with your Application Slip. Only candidates who pass the entrance examination will be eligible for an interview. Candidates awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
  2. The college has been fully approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
  3. Past questions and answers for Entrance exam and Interview are available in the school premises. Pay and pick it up from the Secretary's Office. Amount=#3000

Court recommends out-of-court settlement for FG and ASUU

  A Court of Appeal in Abuja has recommended an out-of-court settlement to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government, following ASUU’s 14 grounds appeal. Recall that ASUU had filed a 14-grounds appeal over the court order issued by a national industrial court in Abuja asking the union to call off its ongoing strike. Justice Georgewill Biobele Abraham who presided over the case, asked the counsel to the Federal Government, James Igwe (SAN) and that of ASUU, Femi Falana (SAN), to first sit down as lawyers, take a patriotic position and convey the position to their clients. He said: “There is time for everything, time for war, and time for peace. As Ministers in the temple of justice, we want to see the two of you as senior lawyers encourage and explore amicable settlement of this dispute. “In fact, we expect to return to this court on Thursday with the good news that the dispute has been thrashed out and all the appreciation of Nigerians will go to you. “
