 This is inform the newly admitted students of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) that the Freshers' Orientation Programme earlier scheduled for this week has been postponed till further notice.

 This is to inform the admitted students of the Lagos State University School of Part-Time Studies (SPTS) that the matriculation list for the 2022/2023 academic session has been released on the university website.  The matriculation numbers can be accessed using the procedure below: Visit the University Website: https://www.lasu.edu.ng Point to the STUDENT tab and click on CHECK MATRIC NUMBER On the displayed page, enter your APPLICATION NUMBER e.g PT23… Click on SUBMIT to view your Matriculation Number. Court recommends out-of-court settlement for FG and ASUU

  A Court of Appeal in Abuja has recommended an out-of-court settlement to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government, following ASUU’s 14 grounds appeal. Recall that ASUU had filed a 14-grounds appeal over the court order issued by a national industrial court in Abuja asking the union to call off its ongoing strike. Justice Georgewill Biobele Abraham who presided over the case, asked the counsel to the Federal Government, James Igwe (SAN) and that of ASUU, Femi Falana (SAN), to first sit down as lawyers, take a patriotic position and convey the position to their clients.
