The attention of the Benue State University Management has been drawn to a fictitious social media publication that the cut-off marks for the 2022/2023 admission have been released.

The management wishes to inform prospective applicants and the general public that the University (erroneously referred to by the scammers as College) is yet to fix her cut-off marks.

The said publication is the handiwork of fraudsters to misinform, mislead and defraud prospective candidates seeking admission in the University for the session in reference.

For the avoidance of doubt, only the admission process for the 2021/2022 academic year that is currently ongoing in the University.

Prospective candidates are to note that the University and indeed JAMB are yet to fix cut off marks for the 2022/2023 academic session as there are procedures to be follow before public announcement to that effect is made.

Finally, prospective candidates and the general public are to note that, the 2022/2023 cut off marks of the University would be made public through formal channels of communication in line with JAMB approved policy for that academic session in due time.

Candidates are encouraged to always cross-check official information concerning the Benue State University on her official website, www.bsum.edu.ng.
